I was so sorry to hear about Nikki. I remember her as a vibrant and kind young lady. I can still see her beautiful, fresh face of 16 years or so. She was such a pretty girl.
She babysat for us quite a bit when she was in high school and the kids really loved her.
I called Danielle to tell her and she told me she had just been thinking about her the other day and thought how odd a happening. We did not know that she was sick, I'm sorry to say. You may hear from Dani as well. Again, Nicole and her family are in our thoughts and prayers, especially her little boy.
I work with Melissa Doyen and she sent this link to us. Philip Staples was here beside the house because of course they are loading potatoes left and right and he also let us know. We were all very saddened. I hope our thoughts of good times with Nikki lighten your load of sadness and you remember the good times as well. Please tell the other girls hello from us and if they are ever out here in Parkhurst Siding, they are always welcome to visit or stay. Sincerely, Pam & Mike Martin

Michael our thoughts and prayers are with you always. I feel very sad and cheated not to get to know Nikki more than just her battle with her illness. Time is very precious. Our best to Alex and Nicole's Family.

Dear Terri,
I cannot tell you how terribly sorry we are to hear about your daughter, Nicole. I see you in church, and had no idea. I cannot say anything, or even do anything that will help to ease your sorrow. However, I'll just tell you that you are in my prayers and thoughts.
My Very Deepest Concern and Sympathy to You and Yours.

To all of Nicky's friends & family-
I don't even know how to express my thoughts and sympathy for all of you.
I have lots of fond memories of our high school years- when I got to know Nicky the best. She was so full of life & spunk and I'm sure that continued on, well into her adult life. I will always remember her distinct laugh and I used to poke fun at her when she'd really get going and let out a snort!
Please know that I'm thinking of all of you & that Nicky had such an impact on so many people. I wish I could be there in person to pay my respects, but I will be there in spirit.

Dearest Mike, I met Nicky only three times, but felt like I knew her so well. I'll never forget her beautiful smile. She was a great source of inspiration and support to my daughter Lisa. Lisa looked up to Nicky, like a big sister. I was grateful for their friendship. When she told me about you, I knew that she finally met her soul mate. You made her so very happy. My heart goes out to you, Alex, and her Mom and everyone else who is missing her. Please be strong. God bless you and keep you. Sincerely, Kathy
