PRESQUE ISLE--David E. Sowers Jr., 41, passed away at his home on September 26, 2016. He was born Nov. 6, 1974 in Presque Isle, the son of David and Debra (Gagnon) Sowers. David had a strong love for his family, enjoyed movies, and spent much of his spare time working on his old trucks. He is survived by his son, Carter Sowers of Mapleton; his sister, Desiree Sowers of Caribou; his niece, Cassidy McGrath of Caribou; his Grampy, Earl Sowers of Caribou; his special Aunt Sheila Gagnon Parrish of Augusta, and special Uncle Tom Gagnon of Mapleton; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed. He is pre-deceased by his beloved parents Debi and Dave Sowers of Mapleton. There will be a graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
