Susan Denise Pitts Glasson
PRICE-Our beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, Susan Denise Pitts Glasson, age 54, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, October 18, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 25, 1961 in Price, Utah to Robert and Maxine McKendrick Pitts. Married the love of her life, Michael Glasson on July 18, 2010 in Price, Utah.
Despite health problems throughout her life, Susan has always been a vital and active woman.
Susan’s first love was her family. She was a devoted mother and wife. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, scrap booking, photography, visiting the beach and being with her family.
Survived by her parents, Robert and Maxine McKendrick Pitts, Carbonville; husband, Michael Glasson, Price; three children, Stephen (Barbie) Demczak, Price, Dennis Marshall, Price, Sheena (Jesse) Dimick, Price; step-children, JoAnn (Marc) Wikle, Las Vegas, Jason (Amy) Marshall Price, Katie (Travis) Parrish, West Jordan, Michael (Jessica) Glasson, Salt Lake City, John James Glasson, Salt lake City; siblings, Diane (Phil) Bimson, Lake Powell, Garth (Cydni) Pitts, Price, Kimberley Pitts, Price; four grandchildren, Ivy, MaKayla, Collin and Roxy.
Susan was preceded in death by her twin brothers, Lloyd and Robert Pitts; grandparents, Thomas and Ruth Pitts, Sherman McKendrick and Delpha Ruggeri; along with many loving aunts and uncles and dear friend Kathleen (Kathy) Stilson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Potter and the entire staff of Community Nursing Services for their loving care. A special thanks to Susie Henseler, for her generosity and love which will always be remembered.
A viewing will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home of Price, Utah (233 East Main Street). Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Services are in the care of Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Susan online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
