Donna Tidwell (Vallejos)

SPRING GLEN - Donna Marie Tidwell Vallejos, age 42, passed away Dec. 30, 2003 at Castleview Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1961 in Price to Bill J. Tidwell Sr. and Rosemarie Perla. Married Antonio Miguel Vallejos May 7, 1977 in Spring Glen. She loved him with all her heart to the very end, she always said he was her heart, her everything.
Donna was a very beautiful, loving, giving and talented person. She was a great cook and craftsman. She loved life, her children and her grandchildren with all her heart.
Member of the Catholic Church, where she was the chairman of St. Anthony's Mexican dinner for 2003.
Donna was a Brownie Scout, Campfire Girl and she loved all aspects of Girl Scouting. She later taught Brownies, Girl Scouts, and was a Cub Scout leader and the boys loved her, as she did them. She collected miniatures (especially Cracker Jack prizes given to her by her mom). Donna loved Murder She Wrote and Neil Diamond.
Survived by two sons and one daughter, Anthony James (Donna) Vallejos, Spring Glen; Tanya Marie Vallejos, Jason Daniel Vallejos, both of Craig, Colo.; parents, Bill and Rose Tidwell, Spring Glen; brothers, Bill J. (Cherrie) Tidwell, Craig, Colo.; Jim J. (Sharon) Tidwell, Magna; Terry L (Molly) Tidwell, Wellington; and five grandchildren, McKayla, Anthony Jayden, Dylan, Jesse and Jeremy. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, John and Margaret Perla, James and Madge Tidwell; uncle, Lee Thornton; cousin, Matthew Thornton; and aunt, Joan Tidwell.
Funeral Mass was Jan. 3, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Committal service, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
