CASTLE DALE-- Carolyn Hanson Holdaway, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend went home to her Heavenly Father November 2, 2000 at her home.
She was born July 16, 1961 in Salt Lake City to Darrell E. and LaRae Smith Hansen. She married Rodney William Holdaway August 20, 1980 in the Manti Temple.
Carolyn was a true and dear friend to many and a great example of love to all. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. Her life's passion and devotion was to her husband, children and extended family, by whom she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Will of Castle Dale; and children, Natalie of Salt Lake City and Jared of Castle Dale; father, Bud of Salt Lake City; brother, Kenneth Johnson of Salt Lake City; sisters, Colleen Zitting of Salt Lake City and Irene Duckworth of Washington. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Mary Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held Monday November 6, 2000 at 1 p.m. in the Castle Dale Stake Center. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
