Montoya, Lorri Ann - Helper/Holbrook, Ariz. age 42, passed away at home April 18, 2003 in Holbrook, Ariz.

Lorri was born in Price, spent much of her life in Helper and attended Carbon High School.

Lorri enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, cooking and, of course, spending time with her family. 

There has not been a time in Lorri's life that she did not have animals.  She loved them and treated them as her children.

Lorri had a great love of God, John, her family and her animals.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Lorri is survived by soulmate, John Smith, of Holbrook; parents, Saralyn Montoya and Philip D. (Bev) Montoya; two sisters, Roslyn (Doug) Warden and Sharon (Curt) Kremer; one brother, Joe (Nancy) Montoya; grandmother, Mae Malaska; nieces, Ashlee, Aubrey, Amanda, DaNeil and Erica; great-nieces, Brooklyn, Olivia and Aja; and great nephew, Bradley.  She also has many cousins, aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by grandma, Lucy Montoya; grandpa, Larry Malaska; uncle, Bob Montoya; uncle, Bill Kirkwood; aunt, Georgette Marinos Hamilton; uncle, Earnie Montoya; and grandpa, George Marinos.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Helper, with a viewing starting at 6 p.m.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, at the church.  Burial, Mountain View Cemetary, Helper, under the direction of Owens Mortuary of Holbrook, Arizona.
