Zeph Knighton PRICE-Zephara William Knighton, age 41, passed away Feb. 26, 2002. He was born Jan. 7,1961 in Salt Lake City to Jerrold William and Evelyn Hamblin Knighton. Married Karen Oberg, later divorced. Married Kelli Marie Turner March 28, 1994 in Lake Tahoe, Nev. Zeph loved and lived for his home and family. Zeph had many wonderful talents. He was an artist, loved to work with his hands and was well-recognized for his mechanical and welding abilities. He enjoyed golfing, skiing and spending time with his children and special little dog, TIA. He enjoyed watching silly movies and he had a dry sense of humor. Graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1979 and later attended the College of Eastern Utah. Zeph worked for Joy Mining & Machinery for 18 years and, for the past three years, he worked for DBT America, which he enjoyed very much. Zeph's greatest gift was that he had a loving heart and a gentle spirit. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survived by wife, Kelli Knighton; son, Jake William Knighton; daughter, Tyler Marie Knighton, all of Price; son, Alexander Zephara Knighton, Gresham, Ore.; mother, Evelyn (John) Pfnister, Rupert, Idaho; sister, Annette (Stuart) Arnold, Kennewick, Wash.; brother, Tony (Kena) Knighton, Cedar City; sister, Vicky (Leandro) Castaneda, Kennewick, Wash.; sister, Melissa (D.J.) Blanton, Price; parents-in-law, Kent (Karyn) Gilbert, Price; brother-in-law, Victor Turner, Price. Zeph was preceded in death by his father. Funeral service, Monday, March 4, Mitchell Funeral Home.
