Comments:

I spent the first two years following high school trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life...oh yeah, and going to college (by the way, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up!). After two years, decided that I needed a little more structure in my life...along with a few more dollars...and joined the Nuclear Navy. After two years of intensive curriculum, I was assigned to a fast attack submarine stationed in Groton, CT. My primary duty was an Engineering Laboratory Technician (Nuclear Chemistry technician). I also attended training and became a US Navy Diver in 1995, the most physically and mentally demanding thing I've ever done...and will ever do. After 6 total years in the Navy, I returned to MD to pursue a career in commercial nuclear generation. I have been at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant since 1998. I started in plant operations, spent a short period performing electrical controls maintenance, and now work in our Outage Management organization as a Project Manager. I married my wife, Terry, in 2002 after dating for ten years. My mother told me not to marry until I was at least 30; my mother-in-law, however, didn't agree! We have two children, both boys. Our oldest, Hunter, is five and attends Plum Point Elementary. He is very tall for his age (gets that from Mommy) and is very agile and athletic. He claims he's going to be a professional quarterback. He plays T-ball and basketball and is amazingly good at both. Our second son, Ashton, was just born in February. He is a clone of our first son. We have to write names and dates on pictures because they look so much alike. Hunter and I stay busy camping, fishing, and anything else outside. We keep a collection of pets, mostly caught in the woods and streams surrounding our home. During the summer months, it's a toss up between catching frogs and newts in our pond or relaxing in the pool. We typically go to Myrtle Beach once during the summer for family vacation and to visit my parents, who retired there. Hunter's favorite place is Alligator Adventure followed closely by Ripley's Aquarium. My wife would spend all day at the antique and craft shops if it were up to her. It's a toss up between Bass Pro Shops and Hooters for me...ok, I lied...no toss up there! I see a few people around from our class, a few at work and occasionally at a restaurant or bar. I look forward to catching up with all of you.

School Story:

I'm sure I'll think of a bunch of things after I write this. After 20 yrs, including college, Navy, work, and family I have a hard time recalling too many stories...at least those that I can divulge on this website!! Funny enough, most of my favorite memories were when I was away from school, as were probably a lot of yours. I had some really good times living at the beach towards the end of school. There will be a select few that read this and that will remember skipping school and fishing all day or terrorizing the community during all-night scavenger hunts. Or maybe those that remember breaking into the Calverton gym every Friday night after work to play basketball and drinking games. I just realized how bad all of that probably sounds, but it's the stuff I remember.
