I went to Concord straight out of PSHS where I met my husband, Tal. After graduating, I worked at the First Church of God (on Mahood Ave.) as their Music and Youth minister until 1997. We then moved to the Beckley area where I worked retail and for the Beckley First Church of God until Russ was born. In 2000 I returned to Concord to finish a second Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and have been working at Shady Spring Elementary since the 04-05 school year.
In the fall of 07, Tal graduated from Mountain State University with his Master's in Nursing Anesthesia and is currently working with privileges at Raleigh General Hospital.
Also, in the fall of 07, Russ fell in love with the sport of Competitive Swimming. Needless to say, between work, church, swimming, and family, our lives are very interesting!
