I worked as a professional raft guide on the New and Gauley rivers in Fayetteville WV and a National Ski Patroller at Snow Shoe and Winter Place, for nine years, as I looked for the answers to unasked questions.
What a hoot!
Realizing I needed life insurance and a retirement fund I moved to Charleston SC to use my Science degree from Concord to teach in the Critical Needs Program. Wanting to give more to education I completed my Masters in Secondary Administration at The Citadel.
FATE! It must be karma. (Due to all those teachers and administrators I gave a difficult time) I have taught Middle and High School Science and now work as a Middle School Assistant Principal.
I love my job and love living in Charleston SC.
I married a wonderful man who has the same passion for water and fun. Life is Good!
