I met my husband, Tom, in college and we married after grad school. We moved to Raleigh, NC--which we loved--but had a hard time getting good jobs with no experience and so many universities in the area. So, after 6 months we moved to New Jersey. NJ was great for our careers, Tom got a job in New York City and I got a job just outside of the city but...I didn't like New Jersey. Nonetheless, we stayed there for a couple of years until my job moved us to Jacksonville, Florida. We loved Jacksonville! This was where we thought home would be (we were wrong). We had both of our wonderful kids, Joseph and Lauren while living in Florida. A little over 10 years after moving to FL, Tom's job brought us to Las Vegas. Who would have thought... I worked remotely and traveled back and forth to Florida until just recently when I decided to just be a Mom for the first time ever. I'm loving it, the kids are loving it and we are finally settled in Las Vegas and now feel like it is home. Joseph plays club baseball, basketball and wrestles and Lauren does gymnastics, takes singing lessons and dance. All is well:-)
