Helen Dorene Jones Wardle was born in Chula Vista, California to Rex and Carma Jones as the second child in her family.

Dorene was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a member of theProvo 11th Ward in her younger years. She attended school in Provo, Utah; Franklin Elementary, then Dixon Junior High and graduated from Provo High with the Class of 1976. As a young girl, Dorene was quiet, though not necessarily shy, she still teased and joked around with the best. She had many friends who loved and admired her gentle nature. If there was anyone who exuded pure, unfeigned femininity, it was Dorene. Her loving kindness towards others was genuine and unmatched.

"My Babe Helen Dorene Wardle passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, 2007. Her life began Jan. 23, 1958 in Chula Vista, CA. She was married April 19, 1986 to David Wardle and sealed April 24, 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. 

Survived by husband David, daughters Jennifer, Angela, Erica, stepson Brandon, grandchildren Kelly, Brandon and Chase, parents Rex and Carma Jones, brother Dennis, sister Carrie Benefiel. 

Dorene's family her most precious possession, look forward to the day they enjoy her funny loving personality again. Private family services."
