Virginia G. (Nelson) Ginger Paul, of Falmouth, formerly Quincy died October 21, 2017. Ginger adored her family and sharing laughs with them. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She would make baby blankets for anyone she knew and donated handmade infant hats to churches and hospitals. She also enjoyed gardening, going to Old Silver Beach, dinner at the Silver Lounge, crossword puzzles, reading, listening to all the current music, and was an avid Boston sports fan. Ginger and her beloved husband Ralph would go dancing and bowling on date nights and were members of the Wollaston and Sacred Heart Bowling Leagues. They were also members of the Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) after they tragically lost their daughter at a young age. Ginger worked for Ahearn Communications, Blue Cross, and retired from State Street Bank as a clerk. She was a fun loving and caring woman who had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Daughter of the late Robert K. and Sara (Chase) Nelson. Beloved wife of 51 years to her high school sweetheart Ralph. Loving mother of Jennifer Paul of Quincy, Libby Salfity and her husband Dennis of Quincy, and the late Susan Marie Paul and Michael Paul. Cherished sister of Karen McDonald and her late husband Thomas of Quincy and Falmouth and Kenneth Nelson and his wife Eily of Quincy. Devoted grandmother of Erin McLaughlin, Brian McLaughlin, and Tyler Salfity. Also survived by her aunt Nora Chase, several nieces and many cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4 - 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 8 a.m. on Friday prior to the funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel, Quincy at 9 a.m. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
