What have you been up to since you graduated?

Garry is a (now retired) minister who felt called to the mission field during his middle school years. So, we have been privileged to serve in 8 states and live in Indonesia and El Salvador (during their civil war). His time as president of a mission group serving the indigenous peoples in India, Taiwan, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea allowed us to visit the peoples there-- I made trips to all those countries except India.

Does anyone in the Halifax/Plymouth, MA area plan on attending the reunion? My sister lives in Halifax, I would hope to stay there and perhaps travel to Quincy with someone if possible.

We are awaiting the possibility of a live donor kidney transplant for Garry. Our donor has one more procedure to undergo before she can be fully accepted.

The live donor option was not a "go". She was shown to have a blockage in one artery just days before the scheduled transplant.
However, on Thursday, July 30, Garry did received a kidney from a deceased donor. He came home on Monday, Aug. 3rd. We are still waiting for the kidney to "wake up". All good thoughts and prayers are most welcome.

Looks like it has been a while since I posted news. Garry’s transplanted kidney never did wake up. He continued on dialysis until shortly before his passing in 2016. We have 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grands. My 4 siblings (all NQHS grads) and I meet weekly on Zoom. Since we live from NH to VA, meeting on Zoom is an easy way to remain connected. I’m registered with my local health department to receive the vaccine; in the meantime, I shop online, mask, and try to stay as safe and healthy as possible. The Delmarva Peninsula usually has moderate weather; this winter has been no exception. We have just enough snow to remind people that winter does exist. I trust that this finds most of our class persevering as best as we can.

Hey Sarah...thanks so very much for mentioning the Avalon venue in Easton. Looks like a wonderful performance possibility. As it so happens my Agents have just begun pushing our band for "Oldies" concerts down through the Eastern Seaboard, spring-boarding off of our recent performance at Boston's just past First Night...using a "Sizzle Reel" from that show. We will be sure to include the Avalon on our distribution list. May be a long shot but greatly appreciated. Thanks again...Frank

Today has been a difficult one. This is my first birthday as a widow. Both of my girls, my sisters and many friends have called or sent greetings. Even got to have a demonstration of boiling down sap to make syrup-fantastic aroma. Thank you, too,Diane.
