Michael Jones

Michael Ernest Jones, age 51 of Two Rivers, WI, where he resided with his parents during his final months. Michael passed away after a battle with cancer on April 28, 2013. Michael was born in Racine, WI, to Ray Louis and Jean Louise Jones.

He is survived by his loving parents, and sisters, Christy George of Kenosha; Terri Adsit of Whitelaw; and Peggy Jones, of New Berlin; brother-in-law, Michael Adsit. Also by nieces and nephews, Theresa (Englund) Fandrei, husband, Clint and their, son Teddy; Kari Tower-Sevick and husband, Mike; Allison, Anthony and Briana George; Michael Jr., Victoria and Jonathan Adsit. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Mathew Jones (age 33). After attending J I Case High School in Racine, Michael went on to serve in the army as a Medical Specialist, where he received numerous awards and was honorably discharged after achieving a rank of SP4. Afterwards, he worked as an EMT and as a tuckpointer. One of Michael's loves in life was computers; he excelled at choosing outstanding hardware. He also enjoyed fishing and was known for his witty sense of humor. Michael put his trust in Jesus Christ for his salvation and we look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Services will be held May 4th at 2:00 at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Two Rivers with a desert fellowship to follow. The family extends a special thank you to Tina and Shelley of Home Care Health Services & Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for the Lighthouse Assembly of God Debt Reduction Fund.
