The Broughton Class of 1970, 50th (Plus 1) Reunion scheduled for September 17 – 18, 2021, has been postponed until March 25-26, 2022, due to the rising COVID metrics. 

The Carolina Country Club has agreed to guarantee our contract costs for the rescheduled reunion date.  The registration cost will remain the same.  If you have already paid your registration, you will be prepaid for our reunion.  If you wish to request a refund, email Melvin Matthews at matthewsm247@gmail.com . 

Please remember to contact hotels to cancel and reschedule any reservations.  If you booked your hotel reservation with the Marriott Crabtree, they have canceled the entire group.  They have guaranteed the same rate for March 25-26, 2022.  You will need to contact them to book those dates with the room block rate before March 4, 2022.

The Reunion Committee based its decision to postpone on the information provided by our local infectious disease experts.  Rescheduling our reunion is in the best interest of our classmates and their guests.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
