Broughton Class of 1970, 50th (Plus 1) Reunion
Your NBHS Class of 1970, 50th (Plus 1) Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, March 26th, 2022, from 6:00 until 11:00 pm at the Carolina Country Club. The cost is $85.00 per person. The attire for the evening is business casual with a coat for the gentlemen. If you have already paid your registration, we are looking forward to seeing you there. If you have not yet completed your registration, please print the attached registration form and submit it with your check to Jenny Hayes Lewis. We need to receive your registration by March 9, 2022.
Head count needed for Friday informal social
We have scheduled an informal social Friday, March 25th, 2021, at High Park on Whitaker Mill Road from 6:00 pm until. Please email Melvin Matthews at matthewsm247@gmail.com if you are planning to attend and have not previously notified him. We need to provide a head count in order for them to staff adequately.
Hotel group rate
We have arranged a group rate with the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. The group rate is $129.00 per night. You will need to contact them to book those dates with the room block rate for the Broughton High School Class of 1970 Reunion before March 4, 2022.
Song requests and dedications for our Reunion
Our DJ for the Reunion will be Cary native Big John Ruth, a Beach Music DJ Legend for years. He currently hosts “Big John’s Beach Party” every Sunday afternoon from 3-6 pm on WFJA 105.5 FM. You may request a song/dedication for our Reunion by emailing your requests to Melvin Matthews at matthewsm247@gmail.com .
