LAURA WAGNER FRANCISCO

After graduating from Broughton, I went to UNC and graduated with a BS in 1992 and a PhD in 1996 both in chemistry. I met my husband as an undergrad and we married while I was in grad school. We have moved around a lot finding the right jobs but after living in Houston and Buffalo we finally settled in Delaware in 2002. My husband works for Chemours as a chemist and I am teaching high school science. Our kids keep us very busy and while I love DE I also miss Raleigh very much!

Reliving high school as a teacher at a small private school has made me appreciate all that BHS had to offer. I love looking at my yearbooks and remembering the high hair and two-tone jeans. Fond memories include off-campus lunch, band trips, and soccer. Not-so-fond memories include parking in the pit.
