This was the most shocking news that I received when I returned to Maryland from North Carolina. Valerie had a brilliant smile and such a warm and outgoing personality. Valerie was one of those people who was everybody's friend.
Val and I were really close after high school.Our boyfriends were best friends.Hell,I'am a godmom to her oldest child.Her death was unnerving to me because she died from a careless mistake that the doctor made.I know that that pleasant disposition we all knew and loved will live forever within her children.She will be truely missed and I will still hear her calling me Ms.Molly in the back of my mind,hiding the fact that she smoked from her mom,and that notorious devilous smile.Rest in peace angel.
