Brian Bocian - Class Of 1980

On 4/29/83 he and 3 other airman flew a small plane from Redlands airport in CA near Norton AFB - they were with the 63rd - and flew to Las Vegas for the day.  They left for a return sometime before 5 pm that same day but never returned.  The plane crashed into a 5,400 sheer cliff and then rolled down the cliff into Bear Creek, in a very remote area, killing all 4 airman the oldest 25 and youngest 19.

I had no idea that Brian had died.  Does anyone know more?  This is such a shocker and so sad.

I graduated with Brian. Last I saw Brian - he and I were throwing a frisbee in the courtyard of a Wildwood Crest bungalow where about 10 of us went after graduation.  He was a great kid and buddy...
