Daniel J. Stasek, 43, of Reading, passed away February 23, 2014.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Richard C and Betty R (Brown) Stasek.

Dan was a 1988 graduate of Holy Name High School, a 1992 graduate of Alvernia College and a graduate of Immaculata University. He was employed as a mobile therapist for T.W. Ponessa & Associates Counseling Services.

He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Timothy A. Stasek at home and a sister, Anne, wife of Anthony Foanio of Spring Township. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Stasek in 2003.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
