Denise K. Jalbert, age 45 years, of Reading, passed away peacefully Monday, March 10th, at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading.

Denise was born in Reading on August 22, 1968, a daughter of Joan (Cook) Gnau, of Bern Twp. and the late Harold E. Gnau Jr.

She was a 1986 graduate of Holy Name High School, formerly working as a ward clerk at the Reading Hospital and also as a deli clerk at Weis Market, Wyomissing.

She is survived by her fiance, Thomas Seker, of Reading; son, Jonathan C. Jalbert, daughter, Jolene C. Jalbert, both of Bern Twp.; sister, Donna L. Kerper, of Leesport; sister, Darlene L. Graves, of Milmont; and sister, Deborah J., wife of Justin Riddle, of Kenhorst.

Friends are invited to call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
