In Memory

Brian Alexander

Took his first breath August 28, 1957 and his last breath August 22, 2015, after a lengthy illness. He joins the company of his mother, Bettie Alexander and his brother, Keith Marshall. Brian touched many lives in his 57 years. He attended St. Peter's School and Church and graduated from Holy Name High School.

Finally, and most importantly, Brian would hope that in his death will be our reminder of how precious this gift of life is and what a blessing it is to be ALIVE. His spirit is carried on by his three surviving siblings: Nathan Marshall (wife, Margurite); Edward Terrell; and sister, Brigitte Alexander; aunt, Joan Marshall; father, Richard Alexander; five nieces and nephews; his best friend, Thomas Palmieri (wife, Shirley), all of Reading, PA. A host of other relatives and friends too numerous to list, but not forgotten. He will be dearly missed by his loving partner, Arlene Tran.

Brian's funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers, Brian would hope that you would do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in his name. Ministry of comfort entrusted to TJ Baker Funeral Home, Inc., 222 North Front Street, Reading, PA 19601.

Mathew Moser (1975)

Brian was my brother and I loved him. Jr and Sr year we were practically inseparable. We continued to be close many years after Holy Name being roomates while I went to Alvernia and he worked a variety of jobs. We finally started to drift apart about 1979 when I moved to the DC area. We would still get together now and then as time and distance permits and his fantastic sense of humor never changed and when we got together it was usually a party just like in the old days. Brian even came to Kansas and visited one year before he got his kidney transplant and was on dialysis. It was hard for him but he made it through with his usual good nature. I don't know what else to say I have years of stories, laughs and memories of my Bro. Tommy, Tim, Whitey, Keith and I will keep the memory of our dear friend alive. One of his favorate songs from high school days was the ZZ Top tune Jesus Just Left Chicago. On August 22nd a bit of Jesus left Reading. Rock on My Brother you will always be in my heart. Matt
