He worked as a Bouncer at Arts Bar and as a maintenance worker for the Shasta County Office of Education.
Steven is survived by his father Reuben Bruce and his wife Shirley; uncles Landon Bruce, Tom Bruce; aunt Norma Bathurst; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Darla Bruce; sister Susan Shayne Bruce; uncles Donald Bruce, Jim Bruce and Jack Bruce.
A memorial service will be held in Steven's honor at 1p.m on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Lawncrest Chapel, 1522 E. Cypress Ave. Redding, CA.
