Adult Ministries

Community Presbyterian Church (CPC) offers Bible and other study groups to allow everyone to tailor their own study plans to their individual needs.

Sunday Adult Education classes meet at 9:30 in the Library and Mountain Rooms. One course focuses on in-depth Bible study.  The other course delves into various Christian interest topics.  The current study for both classes is listed on the Home Page, in the Sunday bulletin and the monthly Lamplighter.

Women's Afternoon Circle meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at 1:30 pm in the Eby Room.  The participants share faith and study scripture.  The Circle also includes prayers for members, their families and others in need of spiritual support.  During the summer months they hold luncheons at local restaurants.

The Men's Bible Group meets weekly every Friday  at 7:15 at Madeline's Grill.

The Men's Breakfast Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month, except June through August, at 8:00 am in Teddy's Hall.  This is an opportunity for Christian fellowship during breakfast followed by a guest speaker who brings a unique message to promote learning about topics of interest to the church community.  See the Home page, Sunday bulletin or the Lamplighter for the next program.

Women's Bible Study meets every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the church.

The Seekers meet monthly to study various books such as Desmond Tutu's book.

Companions in Christ  is a six-weeks series of courses on spiritual development.  This course is offered annually.

Lenten Series is a six week course offered prior to Easter.
