In Memoriam

Kelley Haralson

Classmate Kelley Haralson passed away on October 11, 2022.

This note was forwarded by classmate Don Chester, who played many rounds of golf with Kelley. Don received the note from Kelley's wife Sheila

Wanted to let you know that Kelley died peacefully this morning. Thank you for being his friend.

He had another serious stroke nearly two years ago and has required 24 hour care. I was able to keep him at home, and I’m happy about that. He had started having some more TIAs recently and has been in serious decline for about a month. So I am heartbroken but also relieved. He is free! I’ll see him again.

Played baseball with Kelley until he turned in his bat for a driver and wedge!!  We had some good times before and after the switch of sports! I remember one time we played at Canyon Creek CC after a rain.  On a par three he hit a high 9 iron and plugged the ball into the green so deep we could not see it from the tee box.  He had to dig it out to resume play.  Grinned the rest of the round.  Rest in Peace...

Kelley was one of the Punography Ltd. Directors. He was cheerful, athletic, and funny. Kelley and his wife came to the Punography Film Festival at the 50th Reunion and it was great seeing him again. That was the last time I saw him and I am glad that we got to reunite one last time celebrating our time at RHS and Punograhy Ltd.
