Died: July 20, 1982

Barbara Jean Douden  died July 20, 1982 in Santa Clara, California where she suffered a massive heart attack while hospitalized for testing and preparation for a heart/lung transplant.  Barb was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect in the winter of her sophomore year at the U of M and a complete transplant was her only hope of survival.
