I remember Mike in grade school. He liked pro wrestling and was always fighting with Chris Erickson. Mike went to Woodlake Lutheran Church and was in Indian Guides. As I recal, Mike was working at Perkins restaurant on 66th and York. He was hit by a car while riding his bike home after work. I worked there too when I was 15. I was the dishwasher.
Sully and I were very good friends with Mike. We rode bikes a lot. Played lots of pickup baseball games in St. Richard's back yard. Mike was larger then life. He always had a smile and laugh for everyone. Considering I still hang out with tons of Richfield Classmates, I'm sure Mike would have been one of us! I miss him.
