It looks like I'm only going to be able to attend Friday night, have to go to a wedding on saturday evening out of town. My question is, what would I need to pay for Friday night only? Sorry for the added confusion about payments, but I'm curious. Thanks!
Hey Everybody! I just wanted to remind everyone that Friday night's meet-n-greet will include LIGHT hors d'ouvres and is NOT a meal. I know many of you are bringing your children - it's going to be so cool watching them all interact! - but you may want to consider a quick McDonald's stop for them before you come. I know I will be doing this! Plus, please remember that we want and need you to stay until just after 8PM because we are reliving that glory moment for all of us (but without the cap and gown) and having our class picture made in the gym at 8PM sharp. This photo will be available for purchase and will also become part of the slideshow/photo montage Dave Smith is putting together. Also, Saturday night is 'snappy casual,' not a jeans and t-shirt affair... think, country club dinner and dance and you'll be fine! I'm really geared up for this reunion and can't wait to see you guys! I also want to thank everyone for taking time to get me your information...
Country Club? The only time I think I've been to one of those was fondly referred to by the attenders as a "hoe down": bluegrass in a barn, overalls encouraged, foot wear optional. We were snappy, but perhaps not in the way you mean.
Oh, wait, I did crash a rich person's party one time, well, not exactly, I was riding with the band, and suspect most of the surgeons, lawyers, and politicians were country club members. They were dressed a bit nicer than snappy casual, though. I remember distinctly not looking where I was going as I complimented the housekeeping staff on the great job she was doing while moving through the kitchen, and the hostess rounding the corner in front of me unexpectedly. The freshly refilled glass of red wine in my hand ran into her cream colored satin floor length dress. Uh-oh. I backed away from her with eyes wide until I bumped into the wall behind me. Calgon, take me away!

I was looking at the 1989 history and videos link, when I noticed the list of popular bands. This makes me very concerned about the music for the Saturday dance.
