Emma Bee Cruickshanks, April 21, 1971
Emma Bee Cruickshanks, our Study Hall Teacher at JMHS for many years.
Mrs. Cruickshanks passed away on April 21, 1971, due to a tumor of the brain. She was found unconscious in the Teacher's Lounge at JMHS and was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital. She died there, right before Dr. Oglesby figured out that she had a tumor of the brain and was unconscious.
Mrs. Cruickshanks was only 50 years old and left behind three children; the youngest of which was 13.
Such a lovely person and someone we all knew and loved.
