CLASS REUNION NEWS

The 40th/39th Reunion was held on Oct. 28th, 2011.  The Class of '71 invited the Class of '72 to join in with the planning and combine the two classes.  It was a wonderful weekend and a great time was held by all.  We tried to locate as many of our classmates as we could.  If you were not found prior the reunion, please accept our apologies and plan on attending our 60th Birthday Bash in the Fall of 2013.

Thanks to all who made this event the hugh success it became to be;  Those that planned and those that worked during the events, donating their time.  Those that were able to attend and share old stories, re-kindled old friendships and just had an all round good time. Those that made monatary doations.  Believe us when we say ;  it was worth every effort, time and money invested into this grand gathering of friends from the past.  Thank you all again!

Because of the success of the Reunion;  the classes were able to purchase and donate 2 LCD Projectors to our alma mater, Thomas Jefferson High School.  

We also were able purchase a gift card for Russell Flammia  as a thank you for all his support, dedcation and helpful suggestions  throughout the process of our 40th/39th reunion. 

 

Dear T.J. Class of 1971,

I just want to give everyone a BIG THANK YOU for the gift card I received last week. It was very generous and is much appreciated. If you would like to pass this on to any one else in the class please feel free to do so. It certainly doesn't seem like the reunion was almost a year ago. A fun time was had by all. It just went by too quickly. Time flies, and that's a good reason to keep in touch as we go through life.

The plaque on the projectors read:

"Gift of Thomas Jefferson High School  Classes 1971 and 1972"

Thanks again, Mr. Flammia for suggesting we include a plaque on the projectors.

After purchasing these gifts, the committee was left with enough funds to begin planing our 60th Birthday Party which is presently underway.  So far, we have decided to have it in early fall of 2013 and the location for the BIG Six 0 Celebration.  And, oh Baby!  what a Celebration it is going to be.  Stay tune for more info.
