ASPEN, Colo., March 18 (AP) — Four persons were killed when a twin‐engine plane crashed and burned yesterday shortly after taking off from the Aspen airport, the authorities said.

The victims were identified as John May, 52 years old, of Dallas, Tex., the pilot; his daughter, Carla May, 18; son, Davin, 23, and a son‐in‐law, Richard Snyder, 25.

Mr. May was the chairman of the board of the May Petroleum Company, the authorities said.
