Nancy Joyce Foster Parrish of Floyd, Virginia, passed away on October 31, 2022, following a battle with Alzheimer's disease.  She was predeceased by her brother Charles Foster, but leaves behind husband, Richard E. Parrish (Rick); daughter, Jessica Parrish Howell (Jessi); grandchildren, Tiamon Howell, Norah Howell (Scott Howell), Hattie Hall (Sherman Hall); sister-in-law Connie Foster; nephews Charles (Chuck) Foster (wife Andra) and Douglas Christian (Chris) Foster; a great niece Kaitlyn Foster (Chris). She also stayed close with one cousin in particular, Dianne St. John (Stephen).

After she was graduated in 1967 from Hermitage High School, Nancy studied medical imaging at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and served as a diagnostic medical sonographer at Retreat Hospital, Richmond, Virginia, and later at Montgomery Regional Hospital, now LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, Blacksburg, Virginia.  She was also co-owner of the former Fancies & Follies Consignment Home Furnishings, Floyd, Virginia.

Nancy will always remain dear in the hearts of her family and her many friends.
