Teddy was 53 and living in Richmond when he passed away on January 29, 2003, after a lengthy illness. He was survived by his mother Mary M. Perkins, sons Walter H. “Marc” Marcuson, III, and R. Scott Marcuson, daughter Laura A. Marcuson, stepbrothers Bernard L. Perkins, III, James E. Perkins, and G.T. “Tom” Bondurant, Jr., and stepsister Carol Bondurant Parr. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 0011. Teddy, an avid golfer all of his life, was a devoted member of Willow Oaks Country Club and the old Hermitage Country Club and in 1973 won the City of Richmond championship in 1973.

Teddy was my secret crush in 8th grade. We would end up on "double dates" driven by parents to the movies or somewhere. Even then he was very masculine and exuded confidence. I thought of him over the years but kind of lost track of hiim. So sorry he didn't get a longer life.
