Betty Ann passed away on March 12, 2013, after a lengthy illness.  She was survived by her beloved husband and best friend George Thomas Davenport, Jr., their daughter Lisa Stephanie Davenport, son Moses Gregory Davenport and his wife Lorna, and grandchildren Rafe and Ian Davenport. Other survivors included her brother Otis P. Morris Jr., and his wife Beth, sister Pamela S. Scott and her husband John,  sister Jane Marie Moates and her husband Larry, plus eight nephews and nieces. Betty Ann was known for her keen insight, her sense of humor, and her loving kindness to her many friends, co-workers, and family members. Truly, she made the world better by being in it.
