Sadly, Kathy's niece put a notification in the Ridgecrest FB page that Kathy passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2023. Kathy just turned 75 on June 11th. April said Kathy had prearranged her cremation and her ashes will be spread at Ridgecrest cemetary, but we don't have a date for when that will take place, nor do we know if there will be a service. If I hear any details I will pass the information along to everyone.

Goodbye, Sweet Friend...always remembered as one of my St Ann's School buddies, 1st-2nd grade and then refound when we returned to China Lake in 1966. Kathy was a great penpal, keeping up with our grandchildren, sharing our aches and pains as we aged. Always sweet, kind, full of love. See you on the other side, Kathy...your buddy, Evelyn
