In Memory

Chuck Williams

Sadly, Chuck passed away on March 21, 2020.  If more information becomes available I will share it via email.

Chuck had been admitted to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield with pneumonia a few weeks prior to his passing and succumbed to the illness on the 20th of March (not the 21st as earlier reported).  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Glenda, brother James, and first wife Dianne (Fees).  He is survived by several family members here in Ridgecrest, including his wife Michelle (Ewing), daughter Bernadette Parker, son John Williams, several grandchildren and stepchildren.  He is also survived by his brother Randy, half-brothers Harry & Dan Watson, and half-sister Teresa Rosenblum.  Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 circumstances, services are postponed until a later date.

I am going to miss you my good friend.  Me and Chuck become friends at James Monroe in the 6th grade, after my family moved here in 1959.  Chuck was always upbeat, always had an infectious laugh, and always in a good mood. I recently ran into Chuck at Walmart, in the beer aisle.  We stood there for almost an hour, just reminiscing about everything.  We enjoyed each others company that day and it was great to spend time with Chuck and catch up on things.  Like I said in the beginning, I will miss you my friend.  P.S.  Chuck didn't pick up any beer but I got a 12 pack.  Think I will have one for the both of us.  God Bless.
