In Memory

Terrance Daniel Kelleghan - Class Of 1963

If you don't know who Terry Kelleghan was, you perhaps never saw a play at Ramona. He was the Board President of Masquers. He was also voted Most Talented and Most Humorous. Unfortunately, this wonderful young man died before an aspiring future could become the present. He died in June of 1964, at the age of 19. On June 9, he was a passenger in a car whose driver ran a stop sign. The car was hit by another vehicle and Terry was thrown from the car he was riding in. He was in a coma for a week, until he passed away on June 16, with his family around him. He never regained consciousness. On his headstone it says "Our Terry" and he is, indeed, to all who knew and loved him.

I remember Terry as a very creative young man and was so surprised about his early demise.  I was not in Riverside when I heard, so much of what I heard was untrue.  Terry had so many possibilities that I think the world lost out when he died.
