UPDATE ON CHUCK ALLSBROOK
Just wanted to give you an update on Chuck. Chuck's surgery yesterday was quite extensive..the doctor projected 1 1/2 hours and the surgery lasted 4 1/2 hours. Recovery was long and tedious. On a happier note, Chuck has had a good day today. The physical therapist has gotten him up twice today. Chuck is a trooper and will do whatever it takes to get well. He will have no weight bearing for 3 months, crutches for 6 months and hopefully walking unassisted after twelve months. With that said, recovery is gonna be a long process. I will try to keep updates coming after the surgery. Please pray for a fast recovery!!!!

Congratulations to the 2009 Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets Varsity Football Team for stinging the North Brunswick Scorpions in the first round of the Northern Carolina Conference. The Yellow Jackets will next meet Tarboro.

Make sure you tune in Friday Night, November the 20th for the live stream by WPTM and listen to all the play by play action of the second round of the playoff games as the Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets take on Tarboro it will be high school football at it finest with live updates by Cleve "the Bull" Baker and Joey Landen!!!
