June 27th!!

Thanks Betsy for setting up this forum!! I think that it will help a lot!!

As most of you know we are planning a picnic on June 27 at Garst Mill park. I have reserved the pavillion there for us for all day.  The hours for "all day" are 10 am -9 pm. We are responsible for cleaning up the pavillion and leaving it as it was. Mainly this is sweeping up any mess and taking out the trash.  ALL family members are welcome.. Bring Mom, Dad, the kids, the grandkids.... ALL are welcome!!

Some of us were going to get together to talk about the picnic in the next few weeks.. If you want to be included in our "chat" feel free to let me know and you are more than welcome.  We will need to purchase plates, cups, silverware, napkins and such.. If there is any one who would like to donate any of these or if you would like to donate money towards buying them.. that would be awesome.

We were going to ask each family to bring a dish or 2 and a couple 2 liters to share. I believe there are grills there that we can use.. I will check on that and let you know.. If you have big coolers, ice is always a welcome addition.

If there are any questions ro comments, feel free to drop me a note.......... We hope to have a great turnout for this...

Hello Linda,

Thanks for all your work on this.

My wife and I are planning on attending if possible.

Hi Linda, received this mornings email concerning, the problem that has come up with Garst Mill Park on that Sat.,Try and see if Penn Forest Park is open for that same day and if not another suggestion would be to contact Rke. City Parks And Rec. and see if Fishburn Park is open for that day.Let me know what you find out.
