Joseph Michael Knighton, 62, of Catawba, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara Knighton; and a brother, Chris Knighton.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Knighton; his girls, Kristen, Caitlynn and Lisa; brother, Reggie Knighton; his loving boys, Dustin, Jaxson and DJ; niece, Megan Lawless and husband, Tim; great niece, Laci.

Funeral Services will be held at noon on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Ken Dupin officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Oakey's North Chapel.
