Steven (Steve) Craig Hood of York, SC, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2015.
Mr. Hood served in the Army Reserves early in life and later managed “Daddys Money” and also worked for Hargett Telephone and then opened his own business Hood Telephone Services. He was a great husband and best friend.

He is survived by his wife, Nan Willingham Hood of 27 years; his brother, David Hood of Lancaster, SC; his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Willingham of Joanna, SC; brother – in – law, Doug Willingham of Rock Hill, SC and Richard (Ricky) Willingham, Jr of Suwanee, Georgia.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carolyn Herdon Hood and Henry F. Hood and a sister, Debra Hood Koch.

The family will receive friends at Lakewood Baptist Church on August 6th from 1 to 2:30 PM and a memorial service will follow at 3 PM.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
