Mary Julia Swetenburg Garvin

Mrs. Garvin died at Presbyterian Retirement Home in Clinton, SC.  Funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2006 at Forest Hills Cemetery. with visitation 12:30-1:30 p.m. the same day at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church..
While in Rock Hill, she taught Algebra II at Rock Hill High School. In 1928 she received her BA from Winthrop College.
She was predeceased by her husband, Julius G. Garvin and survived by one child, Mary Anne Garvin Throgmorten of Rock Hill, S.C.
