Rod Bogdonas died in June of 2004. He was funny and serious and a had tons of friends. He was the type of guy who everyone liked, he had a great personality. It seemed like he was always happy and smiling anytime I saw him.

I remember he was the manager of many of our sports teams at Auburn. Rod left behind many good memories and friends who loved him.

The love Rod and his friends shared for each other was shown by the large number who attended his funeral. I bet there were over 500 people who came to see Rod one more time.

Rod died while doing landscape work behind the Auto Zone one block south of E. State St. in Rockford, on S. Alpine Rd.
