Gary went to Whig Hill School and lived at the corner of North Central Ave. and Halstad Road. Sue Amundsen live across the street if my memory is correct. Later his parents moved way out on Kilburn Road, past Lakewood Hills Subdivision.
He went missing back in the late 1960's or early 1970's. He had a tree farm in Missouri and was a deep water sailor. He went missing somewhere off the coast of Florida. I think they never found him or his boat. At the time it was thought maybe drug thugs or pirates stole his boat and killed him and whoever was with him.

Gary went missing in 1973His boat was found with blood but no body.
I have the police reports and the police in Florida have it and are working on it as a cold case.
