Amanda Cole (Nickel)

Amanda Kaye Nickel
December 12, 1979 - August 1, 2005
Makayla Lynn Wease
May 16, 2000 - August 1, 2005

Amanda and her precious 5-year-old daughter, Makayla, went to dance with their Lord Jesus on August 1, 2005. They were involved in a tragic car accident that took both of their precious young lives.
Amanda was a young mother who loved her two children desperately. Her daughter, Makayla, and her son, Reilly, 19 months, were the light and joy of her life. Amanda loved her family very much. She was especially close to her mother, Deana and her three sisters, Amy, Amber and Aleesha. She loved the outdoors, especially in the summer time and appreciated nature in a very deep way. She was a true giver, and loved to help others whenever she could. She loved keeping a journal and was able to write things she felt, but couldnt necessarily vocalize. She loved to play and be happy. Amanda truly enjoyed being with her family. Besides her children, Amanda loved spending time with her mom and sisters.
Makayla was only 5 years old, but was much wiser than her years. She graduated from the Head Start program in June and was very proud of that. She loved dollies and doggies and named them all Sara, except for one special doggie in her life whose name was Holly, but who she lovingly called Holly-Pug. She loved to play dress up and put on make-up. She enjoyed cooking with her grandma Betty. She loved her Nanna ever so much, and her Bubby Reilly. She also loved her "big-brother" who was actually her cousin, Cody.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, David Cole and her maternal grandparents, Thelbert and Maxine Butler.
