David Walther VIEW PROFILE


 

David Michael Walther, 50, a lifetime resident of Roseville, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1957, in Mount Clemens.
Mr. Walther was active at Macomb Christian Church where he served as a volunteer. He also enjoyed traveling, cooking, painting and spending time with his "granddog" Boo.
He is survived by his son, Ryan (Pam) Walther of Greensboro, N.C.; parents, Dallas and Kathleen Walther of Roseville; brother, Steven D. Walther of Eastpointe; sister, Suzanne K. (Scott) Sommers of Shelby Township; nephews, Steve (Kristin) Walther, Bill (Lisa) Walther, Michael Walther, Dan Sommers and Jacob Sommers; niece, Savannah Sommers; great-nephew, Zachary Walther; great-niece, Alyssa Walther; and uncle, Rodney (Jean) Walther.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Macomb Christian Church, 13845 22 Mile Road, Shelby Township, with the Rev. Andy Timm, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville. Additional visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
