Vicki Jo Garrison, 60, passed away 5:15 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born March 6, 1951, in Alton, the daughter of Al and Janet (Seynhoven) Harvatin.

She was a teacher at Edwardsville High School for 15 years and a member of the National Education Association.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Eric Moore of Bunker Hill; and a grandson, Mikey Moore.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Garrison; and by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 5 until memorial services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Paynic Home for Funerals, Rosewood Heights, with the Rev. Charles West officiating.

Memorials may be to Heartland Hospice, Fairview Heights, Ill.
