Robert "Rob" Greeson Fitzgerald Obituary

Robert "Rob" Greeson Fitzgerald III, 73, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Roxboro, died Thursday, January 11, 2024. Born in Person County, Mr. Fitzgerald was the son of the late Dr. Robert Greeson and Shirley Carver Fitzgerald and husband of the late Gail Blalock Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald graduated from Campbell University and was a retired school teacher. He was a member of Long Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his children, Will Fitzgerald, of Hollidaysburg, PA and Emily F. Willoughby and husband Wally, of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Thomas Fitzgerald and wife Teresa and Jeff Fitzgerald and wife Paige, all of Roxboro; four grandchildren, Jared Fitzgerald, Jacob Fitzgerald, Ava Gayle Willoughby and Robert Wallace "R.W." Willoughby.

Memorial service will be held 2PM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Long Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ed Priestaff. The family will receive friends following the service.
