William Brooks Langston (known by Brooks to friends and family) passed away peacefully in his home in Arlington, VA on February 2nd, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born and raised in Roxboro, NC by Nancy and William (Bill) Langston along with his younger brother David. He was a loving father, survived by his two sons, William and Trevor Langston.

Brooks was known for his quirky sense of humor, love of hush puppies, and coaching a generation of young soccer players in Arlington VA. He organized an annual family trip to the Outer Banks for over 20 years, and was most in his element on a boogie board, or reading a book overlooking the ocean.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brooks's memory to a charity of your choice. A public service will be held to celebrate his life at the Brooks & White Funeral Home in Roxboro on February 12th at 2pm.
